for the cheap yet trendy inquiring minds..somehow i fell between the good
reads of torontonians and this was pretty dope..'how to distress your denim'
the highly priced vintaged jeans to low costing ones with your own creative
touch...

Required Items:
■Sandpaper
■Bleach
■Rag
■Sciccors

Instruction:
1.Wear jeans around for a week. Breaking into your jeans is the first crucial step. This will help you gauge where your natural crease pattern is.
2.Take a piece of 240-grit sand paper and rub against the areas you want distressed. (i.e. around pockets, creases, hem line etc)
3.A great tip is to put your wallet in your back pocket and then rubbing with the sandpaper for effect
4.Rub your scissors vertically or horizontally against the area of denim that you would like to distress. Rub gently for mild distress; rub longer and more vigorously to create more visible distress (such as holes and tears).
5.If required dampen a sponge with bleach and rub it around the outer edges of the areas you want distressed.
6.For best results throw your jeans into a cold cycle wash and hang to dry.
tada.
